Clapham wins at first NLA Awards ceremony

Clapham Manor school wins again, this time at the New London Awards which took place on 12 July at The Guildhall.

Philip, along with Pat Ellis and Brian Hazell from CMS, received the prestigious award for best project in the learning category. Projects were chosen not only for their architectural quality but also for the impact they have on the surrounding context. All shortlisted projects are featured in an NLA book: New London Projects 2011/12 as well as featuring in a permanent exhibition opening in September at the NLA galleries in The Building Centre. The New London Awards celebrate the best schemes in the capital, both built and on the drawing board – giving recognition to the impact projects have on their surroundings and their contribution to London, as well as to their architectural quality.
